Yoga Classes

ABSOLUTE yoga Level 1 - FUNdamentals – Welcome to the Practice of Yoga
We introduce you to the fundamental principles of our yoga practice. Our practice is a balanced relationship of both dynamic movements that encourage fluidity and still positions which condition body and mind.

ABSOLUTE yoga Level 2 - Continuing- Establishing a Relationship with Yoga
In Level 2 classes, we introduce you to the greater subtleties of asana. You will begin learning breathing (pranayama) practices and concentration to help expand the experience of the mind/body link.

ABSOLUTE yoga Level 3 - Intermediate – Enthusiastic Practitioners of Yoga
Flowing sequences and inversions are added to the practice. We continue to use Pranayama during asana practice. Seated meditation and hand mudras enhance the connection to the subtle body.

ABSOLUTE yoga Mixed Levels - Be inspired
Open to all levels and designed to allow each student to progress at his or her own pace.

ABSOLUTE Gentle Yoga - BASICS
Reap the benefits of slow moving gentle sequences, restorative postures, breathing and concentration practices. Our students report improvement from numerous stress related health issues, as well as improved balance, posture and sense of well being. No Prerequisite. Everyone is welcome. This class is not considered a pre-requisite to Level l.

ABSOLUTE Gentle Yoga - Continuing
Prerequisite - 2 sessions (16 weeks) of Gentle Yoga - Basics

ABSOLUTE Back & Feet Care Level 1
We will explore a gentle & effective Yoga based practice to reduce discomfort and improve fre
edom of movement.

ABSOLUTE Back & Feet Care Level 2
Prerequisite - 2 sessions (16 weeks) of Back & Feet Care Level 1

Strengthening & Conditioning for Yoga
Flexibility is only half of it and it is NOT a prerequisite for this class! Improve muscular strength and endurance as a means to help support your yoga practice. Greater strength brings a new balance to practice.

Tri Yoga Flow -
Learn the flow concepts of relaxation-in-action, wave-like spinal movements, and economy of motion. Experience inner flow as the harmonious movement of body, breath, and mudra.

ABSOLUTE Meditation for Inner Peace
The purpose of ABSOLUTE Meditation is to develop a mind that is calm, peaceful, content and full of daily insight. Each class includes a guided meditation, a teaching, a practice time and an opportunity to ask questions.
These introductory classes are suitable for everyone, regardless of background and experience. It is designed as both a series and as stand-alone classes.  You are welcome to drop in as your time allows.

Awareness Through Movement: The Feldenkrais Method
In this class you will have the opportunity to slowly, gently, and effectively retrain your neuromuscular system, using the approach of Moshe Feldenkrais PhD. Please e-mail John F. Sawyer, MS at JFSawyer1@aol.com for more information.
